Hello Pirates,

As many of our players on GL2 have been eagerly awaiting and frequently asking, we will share details about the server merge here.

In the upcoming period, we will bring the process of merging servers to the agenda. When we activated the GL2 server last year, we mentioned that such a process might take place in the future depending on activity levels. The reason for this is to make the game environment more lively and enjoyable. Our goal is to ensure the longevity of our game in this era where the gaming industry is rapidly evolving and similar games are increasing in number.

Below, you can find some information about the topic. When we have more details to share, we will update this post with additional messages. For now, please note that details such as the "exact date" are not finalized beyond the points mentioned below.

Some details:
1- After the server merge, all categories will continue to be calculated separately, except for season and event rankings. For example, a player ranked 10th on GL2 will remain in 10th place in their own ranking after the merge.
2- Rank points will also continue to be calculated separately. For instance, a player with a gold rank will retain their gold rank after the merge.
3- Player ID numbers will remain unchanged.
4- There will be no changes to fleets or alliances. Everyone will continue to play with their current fleet and alliance.
5- Since the GL1 server is older, GL2 players will receive ship point support at the time of the merge to promote battles and competition. Ship points will be increased by a certain percentage, which will be shared here later.
6- At the time of the server merge, all islands will be transferred to the MOD fleet, and tower fees will be refunded to island owners. Islands will be reactivated a few days after the merge to allow players to adapt to the new environment.
7- Since the beginning, we have been prepared for the merge, allowing fleet and alliance names to only be created on one server. However, the same username could be taken by the same email address on both servers. For accounts with the same username on both servers, the account with the lower ship points will have its username changed by us at the time of the merge.

The exact date for the merge has not been determined yet. However, for those wondering, we are tentatively planning for March. Once the work on the merge is finalized, we will share the exact date here as well.

As we mentioned above, we are merging our GL1 and GL2 servers while keeping rank and individual rankings separate. To support competition, GL2 players will receive a 1.8x ship points boost during this merger. For example, a player with 1,000,000 ship points will have 1,800,000 ship points after the merger.

Our infrastructure and update for the server merge are ready, and the servers will be merged with the update. The merge will begin on March 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM (server time) and will take a few hours to complete.

Finally, as you know, the season is currently ongoing. These operations will take place during the season. Therefore, you will see the merge season rankings in the game, but the rewards will be calculated separately for GL1 and GL2 specifically for this season.We hope this creates a more enjoyable and competitive environment for everyone.
