Hello Pirates,

As many of you know, for years we've been managing in-game chat directly as the game developers, instead of appointing volunteer moderators. Moving forward, to ease our chat moderation workload, we've decided to build a team of moderators to help monitor both global and local chat rooms.

Moderators will not have access to fleet chat rooms. Also, moderators will not have the authority to issue game bans. If a game ban is necessary, they will report it to us. However, please note that they will be able to view real-time chat reports, global and local chat rooms, and private messages including those sent on ships.

When selecting chat moderators, we will prioritize candidates who: Do not excessively use the chat system with their player account, have little to no history of chat bans, are active for long periods, and communicate respectfully and clearly. If you’d like to apply to join the moderation team, please send an email to [email protected] with your answers to the questions below:

As we announced earlier, we are recruiting volunteer moderators from among the players. As of today, the following nicknames have officially started their duties as moderators. We plan to expand the team by selecting from the incoming applications in order.

Moderators do not have access to guild rooms. However, please keep in mind that moderators can read your "send ship messages" and "private messages". Therefore, be careful not to share personal information you wouldn’t want others to know.

A new name has joined our TR moderator team: Ken[CM]

With this addition, our CM team now consists of 4 members. We’d also like to remind you that CMs have the ability to read private messages. Therefore, we kindly ask you to be cautious about sharing messages that you wouldn’t want others to see or that might make you uncomfortable.

Lastly, from now on, general in-game chat will be moderated by the CM team. Since our CMs are still new to their roles, some mistakes may occur from time to time. We believe the process will be managed successfully with mutual understanding and respect.
