As you know, we created our road map at the beginning of this year and completed these updates by making some additions to the road map. We started working on the skill tree, which is the last item on the road map. However, we do not want to add material innovations to our game with new features. For example, we could add a skill tree and want it to be filled with 30,000 pearls and 10,000,000 gold. Players who did not want to spend money on this could develop their skills in a minimum of 6 months by working on the game. These are the features you see in similar games. However, we do not want to make the game focused on farming or money. As you know, our game does not have features such as a cannonball system, ship castle or shipdeck system as in similar games. Instead, there are many features that are much simpler and specific to the Battle of Sea game, such as attack skill and repair skill. Instead of the skill tree system, we will develop a different and dynamic system that is unique to us, inspired by several systems.

 

In the captain council menu, 4 different captains will be selected for 4 main titles. Each selected captain will give your ship extra features. For example, while one captain will give you an extra range of cannon feature, if you choose the other captain, your ship will have an extra damage shoot feature. Thus, after the update, you will be able to strengthen your ship as you wish, much faster and easier. In this way, the importance of strategies in wars will be revealed.

 

Why add this feature instead of the skill tree?
The skill tree system takes much longer to complete for players and is much more expensive in terms of cost. Players must strive for long periods of time to complete the skill tree. We seem to hear people saying, "Then make it cheap but have a skill tree." However, as management, we have different reasons for this. Additionally, after a while, after all players complete the skills of the skill tree, this system ceases to have any effect and this skill tree system starts to become boring.

 

However, the captain council allows you to choose a captain much more easily and at much cheaper costs and to determine strategic features according to your wishes. By choosing a 1 captain, you will have many features that you will activate one by one in the skill tree.

These captains will have characteristics that distinguish them from each other. For example, one captain will increase your range of cannon, while the other captain will increase your shoot damage. In addition, this system will be much more dynamic (can be changed frequently according to player requests). Accordingly, you will be able to change captains in every battle or event or even while farming and always keep your strategies updated.

 

For now, this feature is in the planning stage by us. We are working on determining the strategies and characteristics of captains. It will be very difficult to balance these features. For this reason, keep in mind that even after releasing the update, feature changes can be made on these captains to adjust the balances. For example, while you, as players, are using these features, if we find that one captain is much more advantageous than the other captain, we can balance power on this, these will be the work after the update is released.

We will share more details on the forum once we clarify the features. Unfortunately, there are no more questions we can answer about this issue for now, but you can be sure that we will try to complete the planning as quickly as possible.
